VISA INFO

You need some type of Visa to enter Taiwan. Some can be arranged on your arrival, but some need to be applied for in advance. Listed below is a brief description of the different types of visas you can get. However, please note that regulations differ depending on which country you are coming from. Please click on this link for more information.

Exempt Visa or Landing Visa: This can be granted on your arrival and will let you stay in Taiwan for 30 days. However, you will NOT be able to obtain a Work Permit on this type of Visa without having to leave Taiwan and returning with an appropriate Visa.

Visitor Visa or Resident Visa: This can let you stay in Taiwan longer than an Exempt Visa (up to 60 days), but these types must be applied before you enter Taiwan.
