花老師對英語教學的熱忱是無庸置疑的,由每一堂課程的設計及每一句與學生的對話,都是老師精心安排的,目地就是要以聲音教學的方式讓學生習慣這樣的語言,不讓學生對英文有距離感,所以即使是在點名的時候,花老師也以英文來針對每位不同的學生做對話練習,慢慢的學生也能以完整句子來做回答。
語言是生活的一環,所以我們不以制式的方式來引領孩子學習,花老師以自然對話的方式或一些較明顯的動作讓學生體會,在一開始上Easy reading stories的教材的時候,花老師先讓學生了解這套教材的學習重點並教導學生如何以英文來介紹這套教材,讀完故事內容了之後,也會詢問相關故事的問題,確定學生真的了解與否。

而在唸押韻詩的時候,老師也特別挑出詩中押韻的字,來讓學生更了解其重點之處。

在童謠的教學上,花老師也另外找了兩首教材外的押韻詩,來讓學生練習,使得學生的口腔肌肉能練習的更靈活。

拼字規則教學的方面,老師針對著每一條拼字規則準備了許多例字來印證,當然有規則必有例外,但大多數的字,都是照著規則走的,在經過花老師嚴謹的練習之後,學生都能對每一條拼字規則靈活運用在實際上,並且能以英文說出規則且對答如流。
